Breakfast toast for kids

For all the moms out there, I feel your pain when it comes to all the morning struggles! There is no way around it- weekday mornings are jam packed busy. From getting dressed and brushing teeth to packing lunches and backpacks, there is never enough time to do it all. Despite the rush, with a little planning and creativity, you can still carve out time for a healthy breakfast that will keep kids energized, happy and full through their morning.

As a mom who constantly looks for ways to balance the food game with my child, this healthy breakfast treat was truly a pleasure to make and serve… and okay, I ate one too, and it really was SO good! In the kitchen, and in just about everything I do, I look for time savers, but value proper nutrition and love the chance to infuse our meals with quality food that will power the hero within.

Today I am sharing our favorite healthy breakfast option that is quick, easy and quite fun to make! My son loves it when I make this in the morning and it motivates him to eat better in the morning than processed cereal and milk. Also, I love playing with food and getting creative with meals. Being creative in the kitchen, especially with children, encourages positive growth in so many ways – first with learning how to make food. Secondly, creativity encourages learning and third, creating fun food together in the kitchen is the perfect platform for building trusting area for open conveyance. I hope you get chance to make these for your kids! If you do, then don’t forget to share your feedback and pictures!!
