Garlic, Cilantro and Brie, Oh My!
That’s certainly what you will be singing once you bite into one of these cheesy goodies, that’s for sure! This holiday, skip the butter and rolls and add a bite of flair to what we all love so much: bread! Can you guys believe that Thanksgiving is in two weeks! Time is flying so fast this year!
I made these for my work holiday party yesterday! After working all day, I needed something quick and easy. After looking at all the ingredients in the fridge, I decided to make these! This was perfect quick dish to whip up in less than 30 minutes. If I had the time, I would make crescent rolls from scratch, but Pillsbury crescent rolls are perfect for last minute prep for party. Since we are in the heyday of things, convenience most likely will outweigh everything.
Every time I make them, I really get creative with stuffing and toppings! This time I wanted something savory and this was total experiment but turned out amazing! These are quite addictive and perfect for snack or any party appetizer or side dish. You can experiment these with your choice of cheese! I have made them with mozzarella, blue cheese, brie so far, and they are delicious! Also, if you are not garlic or cilantro fan, you can totally adjust the recipe to your own taste buds. If you want it on the sweeter side then you can add jelly or fresh fruits with the brie or blue cheese, it is utterly delicious!
I can’t tell you how aromatic these rolls are when they are baking! My home was filled with delicious smelling aroma when they came out of the oven and it took so much of discipline not to eat them until we reached the party. My son came running to the kitchen when he smelled the aroma in the house, however he couldn’t resist. He took one bite and fell in love with these rolls! He loved them so much that he is asking me to make them for him for his school lunch. They are simple and doesn’t require much effort! Now let’s get to the recipe..

Ingredients
Two 8 oz cans of refrigerated crescent rolls (you can use any brand)
16 medium cubed brie cheese pieces
2-4 tbsp salted melted butter
10 cloves of garlic, finely minced
1 cup cilantro, finely minced
Method
Thaw your crescent rolls ahead of time to get the perfect rise. Preheat oven to 350F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. In a small bowl, combine melted butter with finely minced garlic and cilantro. Unroll crescent rolls and separate into triangles. Place cheese piece at the widest end and roll up (tucking in the edges to seal) making it crescent shape. Brush with garlic butter mixture on top of the rolls. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly golden brown.
